KMC Unveils Latest Technology >> “Patient Portal” Allows Patients to Access their Electronic Medical Records

The Lokahi Project is KMC’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) project. KMC doctors, nurses and staff will have greater capacity to offer better and more integrated care because your patient information and medical records will be shared and accessed by all departments at KMC.

Another feature of the EMR system includes a patient portal, allowing KMC patients the ability to go online and view their current medication list, laboratory and radiology results, discharge instructions and more!

You’ll be given instructions for creating a username and password or given the opportunity to log in to see your record. We hope you notice the effects of KMC’s increased efficiency and greater effectiveness in serving your health needs in the coming year.

If you have received services at KMC since May 19, 2014, we would like to invite you to receive the benefits of our new Patient Portal which includes checking your latest lab results, reviewing discharge instructions, reviewing discharge medications, reviewing latest vital signs/ height and weight, and sending messages to your care team.

To create a new patient portal account, please email Alexa Kim (akim@kmc-hi.org) your preferred email address and last four digits of your social security. Alexa will then send you an invitation to go to the Patient Portal.
