Patient Access Representative 

Job Title: Patient Access Representative 

Department: Patient Access

Reports to: Patient Access Supervisor

Status: Part - Time

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged sitting, with occasional standing and walking.

  • Pushing up to 25 pounds.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 5 pounds.

  • Frequent handling and fingering.

  • Continuous use of corrected vision.

    Mental Demands:

  • High levels of attention to detail, concentration, and alertness needed.

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to handle emergency or crisis situations.

    Communication Demands:

  • Ability to read and write legibly.

  • Ability to make basic arithmetical computations.

  • Must be able to understand, write and speak fluent English.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to type accurately.

 

Education/Training:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

Experience:

  • Previous healthcare administrative experience preferred

  • Familiar with medical terminology and previous computer experience preferred
