- It is meant to complement your hospital stay.
- During your time at KMC our expert team will provide support, training,
and medication management to help you breathe better.
- This rehab program lasts about 7-14 days.
- Once completed, you will be connected to support at home to help you safely
transition.

emergency or hospital-based care.

of thriving in your home with the knowledge and resources you need.
What you need to know:
How INHALE works:

You will be discharged from the hospital to continue your care for
7-14 days at KMC before returning home.
- You will receive comprehensive knowledge of COPD, including education on
relaxation techniques and oxygen conservation, as well as medication management.
- Our specialized team will provide care and assessments to determine your
oxygen requirement.
- together with you, they will develop a plan to support your strength and
functioning and help you reach your activity goals.
- Our discharge planners will provide resources for support, including the
home monitoring program.
What is the Home Program?
- INHALE has a remote monitoring program so we can keep in touch with you
from the comfort of your own home.
- Your provider will review your data and can adjust your home treatment
plan as needed.
- You will be supplied with the appropriate respiratory medical device (s)
- You will be connected to a specialist to help manage your care.
