Brandon Higa, PT,DPT,OCS,CEAS

About

Brandon is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is the Director of Rehabilitation at Kahuku Medical Center. Brandon has been working as a Physical Therapist since 2011 after graduating from his Doctoral program at Chapman University in Orange, CA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. Brandon was born in Lihue, Hawaii, and spent most of his youth in Manoa, Hawaii.

Brandon has based his practice on evidence-based treatment with progressions toward early active movement. Brandon has extensive experience in the areas of orthopedics as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), post-surgical rehabilitation, arthritis, and the treatment of sports-related injuries. He is also certified in the implementation of the Otago balance program for fall risk reduction and has been trained in the application of the PEP (Prevent Injury and Enhance Performance) program for athletes. Brandon also has experience as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) for the development of workstation efficiency.
