About
Dr. Sherry Sutherland-Choy, a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), is a distinguished licensed clinical psychologist and nurse practitioner, holding dual board certifications in psychiatric mental health and family nursing. She provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
In addition to her clinical practice, she is an adjunct professor at Chaminade University, where she teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) programs. She has previously served as the chairperson for the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Board of Psychology and as a board member and nurse negotiator for the Hawaii Nurses Association.
Her extensive clinical experience includes working at renowned institutions such as Scripps La Jolla, Palomar Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Hawaii Clinical Research Center, and Kahi Mohala.
Currently, she offers a blend of psychotherapy and medication management at Kahuku Medical Center.
