2020 Community Star for State of Hawaii is Announced - Dr. Jason Hughes

The Community Stars Recognition Program nationally recognizes dedicated individuals who make a difference by positively influencing their communities in several vital health-related areas. The Community Star Award honors individuals whose contributions are making a difference in rural communities through collaboration, education, innovation, and communication.

Each person, coalition, and organization nominated to be their state’s Community Star represents the faces and grassroots initiatives that are working to address the social determinants of health and improve the lives of those who call rural their home.
