Jason Ava

Jason Ava is the Director of Information Systems at Kahuku Medical Center, where he leads the strategic implementation of OCHIN Epic and other critical technologies to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance. With over 20 years of experience in higher education and healthcare, Jason has built a career at the intersection of leadership, technology, and data analysis.

Previously, he served as an Admissions Technical Analyst at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where he managed data analytics across seven departments, including Admissions, Financial Aid, International Student Services, and Career Services, driving decisions that strengthened student success and organizational performance.

Jason is recognized for his ability to align strategy, analytics, and innovation to deliver scalable solutions that support both institutional growth and community well-being.
