Diane Hale

Chief Nursing Officer

Diane brings over 30 years of experience in nursing, with 12 of those years being in nursing leadership roles. Diane has been the Chief Nursing Officer at Kahuku Medical Center since May 2015, and under her leadership Kahuku Medical Center earned their primary accreditation from Joint Commission. She also enrolled Kahuku Medical Center in the Premier National Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) through their affiliation with Healthcare Association of Hawaii to help drive and promote performance improvement throughout the facility.

Prior to joining Kahuku Medical Center, Diane held positions in nursing leadership at North Hawaii Community Hospital, Ardent Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Intermountain LDS Hospital and Cottonwood Hospital, in Salt Lack City, Utah.

Diane earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Nursing Administration with an emphasis in Education degrees from Stevens Henagar College. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL), and state affiliate, the Hawaii Organization of Nurse Leaders (HONL), and is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is active in their local chapter.

Diane is engaged in Kahuku Medical Center’s Community Outreach, volunteering regularly to provide first aid at Kahuku High School football games, local marathon’s and other community events.
