Why Choose KMC Dental Clinic?
COVID-19
We have taken the utmost care to ensure that our new facility utilizes all of the newest technologies to keep our patients and staff safe during this pandemic. Our staff utilizes full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment,) we have purchased the Surgically Clean Air Jade Purifier for every room, and are going mostly electronic with our paperwork to minimize contact between people. Furthermore, we have added on to our normal sterilization methods by giving every room and chair a deep cleaning between patients, and are using the latest machines to sterilize our equipment and supplies.
Our staff members and patients are both screened when entering the building, and patients are additionally screened over the phone before coming in. If you have any questions about our protocols to keep you safe, please give us a call.
Prevention
The foundation for having good oral health is preventing dental issues before they become a major problem. The various preventative services we offer will help you to keep your mouth in good shape, and stop oral disease before it spreads. These services include cleanings, application of fluoride, sealants, periodontal maintenance, patient education, and more.
Restoration
Sometimes, your teeth can develop structural problems because of cavities (decay), trauma, or various other reasons. When this happens, the teeth need to be professionally restored by a dentist. We are here to offer those services for you, with fillings, crowns, root canals, dentures, bridges and extractions.
Pediatric Dentistry
We see patients of all ages, from keiki to kupuna. We have hired a pediatric dentist, Dr. Tanya Karnavy, to provide specialized care for our children through a gentle, caring approach. We recommend to schedule them for their first dental appointment as soon as they start getting teeth or by age one, and then to come every six months after that. Dental decay is the number one chronic disease in children, and is preventable.
