Primary Care at Kahuku Medical Center

Medical Providers for All Your Healthcare Needs

At Kahuku Medical Center, we believe access to high-quality primary care is essential for maintaining a lifetime of good health. Our dedicated team of Primary Care Providers (PCPs), including pediatricians, family practice and internal medicine providers, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, serve as the first point of contact for all your healthcare needs. Beyond treating acute illnesses or injuries and managing chronic health conditions, an essential part of any PCPs job is to keep patients from getting sick in the first place. This proactive approach to care is known as Preventive Medicine.

Preventive Medicine at KMC aims to improve or preserve a patient's health by identifying and addressing potential risk factors early on. In doing so, patients can successfully prevent the onset, progression, and recurrence of illness or injury. Preventive care strategies include regular check-ups, annual wellness screenings, health risk assessments, individualized lifestyle modifications, and health education.

Discover the Benefits of Primary Care

It's important to establish care with a PCP you feel comfortable with and trust. Our primary care providers know their patients by name, not a chart number, and they take pride in constructing comprehensive care plans that exceed the current industry standards of reactive sick care. Instead, our patient care plans serve as a guide for proactively addressing health concerns, enhancing quality of life, and improving long-term health outcomes.
