Megan Landers, MS,SLP

About

Megan Landers, M.Ed. CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist servicing our inpatient and outpatient clinic needs. Megan and her husband, Brendan, moved to Oahu in July of 2023 for her husband’s service in the U.S. Navy. Over the last few years, Megan has traveled the mainland working as a travel SLP in both the acute care and outpatient settings. Her experience comes from the evaluation and treatment of medically complex patients, diseases, and disorders. Megan has provided intervention to various ailments such as cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), aphasia, swallowing impairments/dysphagia, Myasthenia Gravis, Parkinson’s Disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), respiratory failures requiring tracheostomies, dysarthria, voice disorders, and many more. She prides herself on providing intervention that provides a patient-centered approach and making care functional for the patient to address their specific needs and wishes.

In her free time, you can find her reading a book somewhere on a beach, skateboarding with her husband, tending to her house plants, or hiking the closest mountain. Megan and Brendan have two feline fur-babies, Fresca June and Tito Lee. Megan and her family are both originally from the state of Georgia, but for the last few years, they have lived in Chicago, Boston, and Virginia. Megan graduated from the University of West Georgia for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, where she continues to provide supervision and guidance to graduate students pursuing degrees in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
